    "Fish done right, no nonsense, just quality every time"

    Rui's experience

    Don’t overthink this place. Borda d’Água is a fish restaurant, simple as that. Yeah, they have meat, but if you come here and order meat… what are you even doing. This is where you go for proper fresh fish and solid seafood. The quality is consistently good, and that’s the key thing, they don’t miss. I’ve been here multiple times and it’s always reliable. The grilled limpets are a must, no discussion. It’s probably the best fish spot in Lagoa right now. Only downside, it’s not cheap, but at least you feel like you’re paying for something legit.

    • →Some fish dishes come in massive portions, easily enough for two people, so don’t over-order like a rookie 😄

    Pros

    • Consistently good fish every time
    • Probably the best fish restaurant in Lagoa
    • Great seafood options including grilled limpets
    • Reliable, no surprises in a good way

    Cons

    • A bit on the expensive side
    • Meat options exist but are not the reason to come here
