Cais da Sardinha

To be 100% honest, the last time I went to Caixa de Sardinha was a long time ago.

Probably three years ago or more. So yes, things might be very different today.

Back then, I only went once and I ordered a pasta dish.

And honestly, I wasn’t impressed at all.

That said, I’m very picky with Italian food. It really needs to be top-notch, and this one wasn’t.

Because I only ate one dish, one time, many years ago, it would be unfair to judge the whole menu.

So take this for what it is. Feedback based on memory, not a full evaluation.

I definitely need to go back and try it again.

What really stands out about this place is the outside.

It’s right by the marina, with a great view over the boats.

There’s also a café area on the side where you can have cocktails, and the atmosphere there is genuinely great.

Especially in the summer, this is where the restaurant shines.
