I’ve been eating here since I was a kid, back when this place was in its old location and I came with my parents. They moved. That’s it. Everything else stayed the same. Same cooks. Same food. Same menu. For more than 20 years. No updates, no concepts, no “modern twist”, no bullshit. And honestly, that’s the whole point. The food is insanely good. Proper, raw Azorean cooking, full of flavour, no shortcuts. This is the kind of place that doesn’t need to change because it already got it right a long time ago. The place itself? Nothing fancy. Old school. If you’re looking for atmosphere, look somewhere else. People come here for one reason only: the food. If you want real regional Azorean food and not a watered-down tourist version, this is one of those places you don’t skip.
