Rui's experience

Cervejaria Docas is one of those classic Portuguese-style restaurants. They did a refresh a couple of years ago, so the space feels a bit more modern, but at the end of the day, it’s still a very standard spot. Food-wise, it’s okay. Not bad, not great. Very much in the middle. It’s definitely not one of the best Portuguese restaurants around, and if your goal is really good Portuguese food, there are better options in São Miguel. This feels more like a place you go to watch a football match, grab some food, and not think too much about it. It does the job, but that’s about it.
