Dondué sits right in the center of Ponta Delgada and at first glance it looks like another trendy coffee shop. The surprise is that the food is actually good. They focus on light meals like creative toasts and small plates, but these aren’t the usual basic café snacks.
The dishes feel thought out, a bit different from the standard sandwiches you find everywhere, and the quality is solid. Prices aren’t cheap, but they’re fair for what you get and for the location. If you want something lighter than a full restaurant meal but still tasty and well presented, this is a good option.
