    "A Korean BBQ where you cook your own meat, fun idea, but not for everyone."

    Rui's experience

    Han Table Barbecue Azores is one of those restaurants where the experience is the main attraction. When you walk in, it immediately stands out because every table has a chimney and a built-in grill where you cook your own meat. The setup is actually pretty cool and different from most restaurants in São Miguel.

    They bring you the meat and ingredients, and you grill everything yourself right at the table. The meat quality was fine, nothing bad, and the prices are reasonable for what they offer. But personally, I didn’t enjoy the experience that much. The restaurant gets quite noisy, all the grills and chimneys create a lot of smoke in the air, and there’s constant movement around the tables.

    If you enjoy interactive dining and cooking your own food, you might like it. But for me, the overall experience felt a bit chaotic and not very relaxing. The food is decent, the service is okay, but nothing really stands out.

    • Fun and different concept where you cook your own meat at the table
    • Interesting Korean BBQ setup with grills and chimneys on every table
    • Prices are reasonable for the experience

    Cons

    • Restaurant gets noisy and smoky because of all the grills
    • The experience can feel a bit chaotic rather than relaxing
    • Food and service are decent but nothing particularly memorable
