Jardim Municipal da Povoação is a small, very cute garden right near the town hall. Nothing fancy, nothing dramatic, just a properly taken care of green space. And when I say well maintained, I mean really well maintained. Grass always cut, benches clean, everything in place. Someone clearly gives a damn. Whenever I go to Povoação to eat some "fofas", I usually stop here first. Sit on a bench, chill for a bit, slow down. On a sunny afternoon? Jackpot. This is not a destination park. It doesn’t try to impress you. But it’s calm, pleasant, and works perfectly for what it is.
