Lagoa de São Brás

Lagoa de São Brás is one of those places you only visit if you decide to go there. It’s not on the way to anything else. You have to drive up specifically just to see this lake.

You can park the car nearby and walk a small, easy trail around it. No facilities, no cafés, no bathrooms. Just nature. And honestly, the nature is fine. Not bad, not great. Very average by São Miguel standards.

It’s not one of the prettiest lakes on the island and it doesn’t have a wow factor. It’s calm, quiet, and okay. That’s the best way to describe it.

Is it worth it?

Yeah, sure.

Just don’t spend too much time here and don’t build your day around it.
