This is São Miguel without filters or infrastructure. No viewpoints, no cafés, no bathrooms, no vendors. Just a lake hidden in the middle of the island. There’s no proper parking. You stop nearby, find the right trail, and walk down for a few minutes. The trail is easy, but you still need to go down and climb back up. That alone keeps a lot of people away. The lake itself is small. Very small. But when the water is calm, it turns into a perfect mirror. Trees, sky, clouds, everything reflected with zero effort. Silent, raw, and completely natural. If you’re looking for comfort, this isn’t the place. If you want to see São Miguel at its most untouched, this one delivers.

- Access only by trail, down and up
