This place has history. It opened back in 1904, not as a restaurant, but as a high-end hat and fabric shop importing directly from Paris. Later on, it was turned into a restaurant, and that past still shows. The atmosphere is the star here. Vintage, full of character, and genuinely cool. This is one of those places where you spend half the night eating and the other half just looking around at the walls and details. Food-wise, it’s bistro-style done properly. Solid quality, well executed, and honestly not that expensive for what you get. You’re paying for a full experience, not just what’s on the plate. The only real downside is that it’s almost always packed, so booking in advance is pretty much mandatory. If you care about atmosphere as much as food, this place is a no-brainer.
