Mata Dr. Fraga is one of those classic Azorean forest parks that locals love for picnics and relaxed afternoons in nature.
The place is full of big trees, green space, and quiet corners where you can walk around and just enjoy the forest atmosphere.
There are picnic tables with barbecue areas, a small pond, and plenty of space to wander around without feeling crowded. It’s the kind of park where you show up planning a quick stop and end up staying for hours.
