Mirante Rooftop Bar

Call it a bar if you want, but this is basically a rooftop sushi restaurant with one of the best indoor views around. Floor-to-ceiling glass everywhere, so you’re eating while staring at the ocean and the city. The vibe is modern, clean, and a bit upscale without being snobbish.

The sushi? Honestly impressive. Starters, sushi, dessert, everything we ordered was on point. Fresh, well presented, and properly executed. Not “good for the Azores.” Just good, period.

Service was also solid. Attentive, smooth, no awkward waiting around.

In the summer, they open up the rooftop area and you can take your drinks outside. Good sushi, good view, good atmosphere. Hard to complain.
