Octant Furnas

Oktant is inside a five-star hotel in Furnas, and you feel it the second you walk in. The atmosphere is top-notch. Vintage-industrial, semi-outdoor turned indoor, super cool lighting, proper design. Not your typical tourist restaurant. It feels curated.

Service? Solid. Polite, professional, no drama.

Food? Really good. My meat was tender, sauce on point, flavors balanced. No BS here. They know how to cook.

Now… portions.

My plate came with meat and sauce and exactly eight fries. Eight. I counted. This is not minimalist. This is “did the rest fall on the way from the kitchen?”

Dessert was tasty, but the tiramisu presentation felt weirdly lazy for a five-star setting. Scooped from a bowl like ice cream, dropped on the plate. No finesse, no show, no “wow.” Flavor great. Presentation? Meh.

Bottom line.

Quality is there. But value for money? Questionable.
