Octant Hotels Furnas

Octant Hotels Furnas is one of the most stylish hotels in the Azores, especially if you like that rustic but modern design mix. The building itself was rebuilt from an older structure, and the result is a hotel that feels very authentic while still being comfortable and modern. Personally, I love the rustic style they went for.

The rooms follow the same concept, with a vintage and rustic design that actually works really well. It’s different from the usual hotel look and gives the place a lot of personality. The service is also excellent. Staff are friendly, professional, and the overall experience feels very polished.

One of the highlights is the spa and swimming pools. They have both indoor and outdoor pools, and they’re heated using the naturally hot volcanic water from Furnas, not with machines. It’s a really cool detail and makes the whole experience feel connected to the unique geothermal nature of the area. They also offer massages and other spa treatments.

The restaurant is another standout. The food is good, but the real highlight is the atmosphere. The design and overall look of the restaurant are beautiful and make it a great place to relax and enjoy a meal. Overall, it’s a fantastic hotel and one I strongly recommend if you want a comfortable and stylish stay in Furnas.
