Pisão

Miradouro do Pisão has a weird name, even in Portuguese, but the place itself is actually pretty nice.

It’s right on the road when you’re going to or coming from Ribeira Chã, so access couldn’t be easier. Stop the car, step out, look around. No walking, no effort.

The highlight here is the view over Caloura. On a good day, the water looks unreal, that turquoise color that doesn’t even look real and makes you stop for a second. It’s not a huge panoramic viewpoint, but what it shows, it shows very well.

This is not a destination viewpoint. It’s a bonus stop. You’re already passing by, you stop for two minutes, enjoy the view, take a photo, move on.
