Piscina de São Pedro

This is another very old swimming pool, right in the center of Ponta Delgada. It’s fresh water, not salt water, so forget the ocean vibe. This is a classic city pool, period.

It’s cheap to get in, easy access, and surprisingly fun. The high diving boards are the main attraction, you can jump, mess around, and actually feel like you’re at a proper pool, not pretending it’s nature.

Perfect to kill an afternoon without overthinking it.
