Terra Nostra Thermal Pools

Located in Furnas, inside the iconic Parque Terra Nostra, this is one of those places you just have to do.

The main hot spring pool is massive, easily the biggest in the Azores. Natural volcanic water, hot, iron-rich, and impossible to forget. On top of that, there are smaller pools spread throughout the park.

But the real highlight is the park itself. It’s hands down the best park in São Miguel. This isn’t a quick swim. It’s a full-day plan. Swim, walk, explore, repeat.
