"Great for snorkeling. Not great for chilling."

    Rui's experience

This is one of those half-natural, half-engineered swimming pools. It works, but it’s not exactly pretty or comfortable.

I don’t come here often. The resting area is concrete and rocks everywhere, so relaxing outside the water is kind of a pain. It’s also far from my place, which doesn’t help.

Sometimes debris from the sea, bits of wood, occasional plastic, gets pushed in by the waves and stays trapped inside the pool. It’s not dirty, just one of those things that happens when the ocean decides to bring gifts.

Where this place really shines is snorkeling. Not because there’s crazy marine life, but because the pool is usually very calm. You can float around, snorkel properly, and not fight waves every two seconds.

    Pros

    • Very calm water
    • Great spot for snorkeling

    Cons

    • Concrete and rocky resting areas
