Rui's experience

I don’t come here that often, and the reason is stupidly simple. The sea floor has a lot of small rocks and when the waves hit, those rocks hit your feet back. Not painful, but annoying enough to break the chill. That said, the beach itself is solid. It has facilities, easy access, and one of the best views on the island, with the Ilhéus dos Mosteiros right in front of you doing all the heavy lifting visually. If the sea is calm, it’s pretty nice. If not, you’ll be dancing trying to protect your toes.
