The Gardener Bar Terrace sits inside the Terra Nostra Garden Hotel, right in the middle of the legendary Terra Nostra Garden. This is the kind of place you go after walking around the botanical garden or
soaking in the hot springs.
The food is light but refined, think salads, small dishes, and elegant plates rather than heavy meals. The surprise is the price.
For a fancy hotel setting in one of the most beautiful parks in the Azores, it’s actually pretty reasonable. If you’re already visiting Terra Nostra, stopping here for a relaxed lunch or drink is honestly a no brainer.

- Beautiful terrace in the middle of the Terra Nostra garden
- Light but refined food that feels a bit more special than typical snack bars
- Surprisingly reasonable prices for a luxury hotel setting
- Perfect stop after visiting the hot springs or walking the park
Cons
- You usually need to enter Terra Nostra Garden to access it
- Not the place if you want a big heavy meal
- Can get busy during peak tourist hours
