Félix's Mill Trail - TM06

This is my second favorite trail on São Miguel, and for a very good reason. You get to see three waterfalls on a single trail. Three. As far as I know, no other trail on the island does that.

The trail is beautiful, calm, and very accessible. It’s easy, no big climbs, no sketchy sections, and it flows really well. Nature is lush, green, and constantly changing, especially near the waterfalls.

The only thing that slightly takes points away, and this is purely personal taste, is that the trail is very well maintained by the city hall. Railings, wooden paths, some sections feel a bit artificial. I personally prefer something more raw.

That said, the beauty is still there. Big time. And the waterfalls completely make up for it.
